Rock Steady is rock duo out of Eastern Ontario featuring Jay Lewis on guitar and vocals and Cindy Goldberg on drums and vocals. Their sound is a mix of rock n' roll, blues, pop and classic country influenced by a long and eclectic lineage including but not limited to Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Blue Rodeo, Tom Petty, Joan Jett, Bill Withers, Paul Simon, Bob Marley, the Eagles and Melissa Etheridge.
Jay has been performing as a multi-instrumentalist and singer for almost 40 years - including decades as a full-time musician in Montreal. Blessed with a vast musical repertoire and great stage experience, he now resides in Brockville, Ontario. You can often find him co-hosting popular music jams in Brockville and Ontario.
Cindy started performing with community and concert bands at the age of 12. She has played clarinet and saxophone with many musical ensembles in the Ottawa area, as well as Halifax, Nova Scotia. Over the last several years, she's pursued her passion for drumming. She is also a filmmaker and actively showcases female drummers and percussionists.
